My granddad was army air born, landed in france pre- d day, fought through hedge rows and countryside. He killed alot of germans, fought his way to berlin . He never spoke of anything tell one year before he died, I quote " THE GERMAN PEOPLE AND THE NAZIS WERE NOT THE BAD GUYS, WE WERE LIED TO, THE RUSSIAN JEWS WERE. WE FOUGHT THE WRONG PEOPLES!
