Anglachel is a Dungeon Synth project created by Admetos of the black metal bands Elegos and Faunus. The music is inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien world.
A musical journey to the First Age of Tolkien's legendarium. The dark story of the Fall of Gondolin and the departure of Tuor and Idril through their secret way to safety. Their hearts never ceased to hurt for the loss of their beloved homeland, and so finally sailed to Valinor.
Anglachel presents the second part of their story. Darker, more epic and more mature "Of Tuor, Idril and their Departure from Gondolin" will lead to a journey at times when honor, courage and strength dominated the world.
