At an immigration forum in San Diego on July 10, 2017, US Representative Juan Vargas stated that illegal aliens were in fear and that ICE had stated to him that they intend to begin deporting all illegal aliens, not just criminals. He said they were also already deporting some with DACA status. Vargas said that Trump and General Kelley are saying they will respect Obama's illegal DACA amnesty, but ICE is doing something else, deporting them.
Vargas sees illegal aliens as his constituents. This forum was obviously for them and their families and not for US citizens, who oppose illegal immigration and support law enforcement. Only written questions could be submitted. Any questions, which were not supportive of illegal aliens were censored by his staff.
