After suffering profound bullying and the sudden loss of her father Melody Coury carried both grief and trauma. She made friends at her leftist University. All she cared about was tolerance of one another which the left promised.
Being an Arabian of both Lebanese and Syrian descent she became quick to see racism and as a new feminist became resentful toward men. In the beginning, she was attracted to the decadence that was common at the university.
Melody began to become frustrated with the way progressives treated people and realized they were intolerant and cruel. Not being in agreement with the leftists she was pressured to leave her position on the student council and sought advice from a family member who had experienced the cruelty of progressives.
Over time she returned to her childhood Orthodox Faith and was accepted with open arms into the community.
