’s campaign on Monday secured a legal win after the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals granted an expedited review of their appeal from a Pennsylvania court,
according
to Trump campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis.
According to the order, Trump’s “motion for emergency expedited review is granted at the direction of the court.”
Their brief now needs to be filed by 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, and more have to be filed by 4 p.m. on Tuesday. “The court will advise if oral argument desired,” it said.
Last week, a math professor who specializes in analytic number theory wrote in a sworn affidavit that he flagged up to 100,000 ballots in Pennsylvania of potential fraud.
“I estimate that the number of ballots that were either requested by someone other than the registered Republican or requested and returned but not counted range from 89,397 to 98,801,” Miller said in the sworn
statement.
Sidney Powell has aggressively promoted allegations about electronic voting systems used during the 2020 election, specifically machines and software operated by Dominion Voting Systems. Sidney Powell has alleged that the system switched votes to former Vice President Joe Biden from Trump, either by tampering with the physical devices or remote hacking.
Sidney Powell supported her allegations about Dominion Voting Systems with a partly redacted affidavit from a person who claimed to have witnessed the software being used to steal an election for Venezuelan socialist dictator Hugo Chavez. The affidavit was subsequently filed in federal court as part of a lawsuit by Lin Wood, another attorney with the Trump campaign.
Notably, one of the other claims Sidney Powell promoted during the Trump campaign press conference also stemmed from a filing in the Wood lawsuit. The filing alleged that a number of precincts in Michigan had 100 percent or more people vote than there were registered voters. The conservative Powerline Blog noted that the townships listed were from Minnesota, not Michigan.
Sidney Powell said on Nov. 21 that the president’s lawyers will file a lawsuit of “biblical” proportions soon, alleging that some election officials were embroiled in a pay-to-play scheme with a prominent manufacturer of voting software.
“We’ve got tons of evidence; it’s so much, it’s hard to pull it all together,” Sidney Powell told Newsmax.
“Hopefully this week we will get it ready to file, and it will be biblical,” Sidney Powell said. “It’s a massive project to pull this fraud claim together with the evidence that I want to put in.”
