This is all preventable but environmental lawyers out for a buck not for the environment prevent people from being able to protect their own property. The erosion isn't natural the Army removed truck loads of sand to fill in a swamp for a naval base that they no longer even use. The government has also been dredging sand to make a path for millionaires and their boats which has cause erosion south of the dredging. They had a business there for over 60 years and two generation they can't just pick it up and move.
