Whether it was turning to open borders in a failed attempt to expand his base with huuuulaaaahtinos and thus losing white support in Midwestern states or the curious phenomenon of black turnout surpassing that of all voters in previous Democratic primaries, including Obama vs. Hillary in 2008, there were at least half a dozen reasons Bornie flopped on Super Tuesday. Some of them were self-inflicted (and possibly even intentional), while others done as a flex by the party establishment, as they've done in the past with other races, especially those in the South (see black turnout re: Doug Jones).
