Supreme Court Blocks Governor Cuomo's COVID-19 Restrictions On Religious Services

The Supreme Court ruled yesterday in a 5 to 4 decision to block New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s COVID-19 restrictions related to religious service attendance.

The strict rules mainly targeted Roman Catholic Churches and synagogues, saying they could only have up to 10 people attend, or 25% of their capacity, whichever is fewer.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett played a key role in this decision, as Justice Roberts, a flat out conservative embarrassment, sided with liberals.
