The problem with voting is dumb people.

pushing buttons its what I do.
The caucus system is wonderful because it is a step away from majority rule by manipulation of sheep or the lowest common denominator. It takes in account vigor, political drive and know how. It's like a mild crow law that cuts out the 90% of ignorant masses unable to figure it out. What that's does is shaves much of the stupid out of the electoral process because it requires a person to actually do something besides show up and push a button, they might even have to read some oh my and have some organization. So where Romney can pay people to hold signs, give away free sandwiches, and give his I like the song America the Beautiful speech fifty times, Ron Paul is speaking to thousands at rallies and gaining delegates because though he may have fewer supporters at the polls, he has all the intelligent supporters, and that is why his smaller groups are destroying the thoughtless herds in the race for delegates. So for once the anti-war candidate even with the pro-war media's blackout and dismissiveness, finally has a chance at winning.

Anything is better than majority rule. You don't see that anywhere else, not in industry or the military, because it doesn't work, its disastrous. The idea that the public just gets to pick the government all with equal votes, is just asking for stupid because the intelligent are always a minority to the stupid/politically ignorant. Any small process that gets rid of the run of the mill voter is a plus.

Can you imagine if we just voted who got in NASA, or who cleaned your teeth, did surgery etc.Yet we let that system fly for deciding how to spend trillions of dollars, matters of war, and making laws that can imprison people or strip them of money and property. No wonder the government is always broke. It's full of idiots.
