John's Bio:

In 1999 John Paul Rice started his Hollywood film career as a featured Titan football player in Jerry Bruckheimer's Remember the Titans.

In 2001, John landed a position at the Los Angeles division of a German distribution company Senator International, later renamed Mandate Pictures, led by industry veteran Joseph Drake (The Hunger Games, Don’t Breathe, Juno, The Grudge, Harold and Kumar Go To WhiteCastle).

In 2008, Mr. Rice formed No Restrictions Entertainment with filmmaker Edgar Michael Bravo and produced the critically acclaimed One Hour Fantasy Girl, based on the true story about a call girl who performs non-sexual fantasies for men out of a motel in Hollywood. Next, they produced The Magic Stone, a psychological drama about a homeless man suffering from dementia who tries to save the life of a runaway teen and the girl he loves. The team followed up with the poignant Memories of a Lost Love which dealt with child abuse through the mind of a young 22-year-old man who starts seeing past events surrounding his missing father. One year later Bravo and Rice created the compelling sci-fi thriller in Mark's Secret to Eternal Life, the story of a former slave from the Civil War Era who stays alive by taking the lifeforce from the people he loves. Two years later, the heartbreaking film, A Nice Quiet Life showed how love transcends romance in the face of mental illness. The team recently released their 6th project in 10 years with A Child’s Voice, a supernatural thriller about a runaway teen who answers a child calling out for help and is sent on a journey to find a human trafficking network run by the child's killer. All six films tell bold, authentic, real-life stories of survival in the face of uncertainty with a hope and love for a better world.

The team is currently in preproduction on their next film entitled Game Day, an exhilarating and gut-wrenching, story about an Italian-American family from Philadelphia who have gathered in their Los Angeles home to fanatically cheer the Eagles during the last NFL football game of the season. Food, fights and bitter realizations arise from within the family throughout each nerve-wracking quarter of the game, leading to a final accounting of where their lives are headed when the game clock reaches zero.
