People are really stretching this story to connect it to the batman film. He did not tell police he was the Joker. One Police Chief said that he uttered that in his cell. Its a nice story to sell. There is no evidence of it though. No one who knew him said he ever mentioned it. He was not wearing make up and his hair wasn't GREEN like the Joker's hair it was red/orange. He just was a disgruntled jewish kid with too much education and no job that took it out on society. probably on SSRIs. its happened before like 5 times. Remember columbine? Same state too. james holmes, stop blaming movies, guns, etc lets look at the real common theme. James Holmes wasn't just born crazy. I am willing to bet the farm he was on SSRIs and part of his motive was being jobless after so much schooling.
