Barbara Loe Fisher's Grant Park speech in Atlanta was to the point - fiery and furious. Covering virtually all of the vaccine bases, Ms. Fisher's passion is particularly and personally fueled by the thwart of the intent of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which she actively helped create. Promised to be a fair and expeditious means of providing victims of serious vaccine injury and their families with deserved compensation, NCVIA has proved instead to be a virtual obstacle to such provision, providing only a blanket of protection against liability for vaccine manufacturers and the implementing medical community.
