We're constantly told about Iran wanting to destroy Israel and Iran's ambitions of acquiring the A-bomb. Now, those 'invented' claims are being used to justify violating the NPT further to renew an American built, American controlled, (non-independent), independent nuclear deterrent. These constant claims are reminiscent of the claims of Iraq's WMD programmes prior to their invasion. 76 thousand million pounds. That's what it will cost to develop and maintain these WMD. What would you prefer that money gets spent on?
