A new survey shows that around 74 percent of Britons think one should be born in Britain to be regarded as British.
Based on the survey, young Britons especially from ethnic minority backgrounds feel closer to their parents’ native countries more than Britain due to some intolerable social attitudes towards immigrants and ethnic minorities in the UK.

Experts believe the UK politicians have stoked up the anti-immigrant tensions which have ostracized immigrant communities and made them targets for racist groups.
In this edition of InFocus, we look at British attitudes towards immigrants, and find whether being an immigrant is making more people feel unwelcomed and un-British.
