Businessman Lance Forman has urged the government to produce a post-coronavirus economic plan.
Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, the former MEP said: “You have mainstream media arguing about whether 'local' means five miles away from your home or seven miles. Meanwhile, we’re £2 trillion indebted.”
Mr Forman suggested targeting measures at businesses by scrapping corporation tax and removing red tape.
He added: “I don’t think the plan needs to be terribly complicated. I think it needs to be the same plan you have to get an economy moving at any time but only now, we need to do it on steroids.”
