This explosion is like no other that I have seen. The percussive force was massive and destroyed much of the city, but the heat release in the clouds was relatively small in comparison. and the stagnant clouds were a striking red color. Small flash, very little convection, huge blast. Something is not right here. Looks like ammonium nitrate will be blamed again but this is not consistent with other chemical disasters.
