About a year or so ago I made a podcast about Southern Accents. A listener said he enjoyed that podcast and suggested that I do something similar once again. Unfortunately, I deleted the original podcast, so I decided to make another one AND expand on the subject of the South even more. Does the Southern United States have its own distinct culture and what sets it apart from the rest of the USA? Is Southern culture slowly being erased? And why do terms like "Dixie" offend people?
This is a LONG video, and it's not going to appeal to everyone, but hopefully some of my listeners will find it entertaining, interesting, and enlightening.
