Steve Laws, a resident of Dover, was startled by the number of people entering the UK and what he saw as a lack of media attention and national awareness on the crisis.
Adopting the role of citizen journalist, his phone footage documenting the arrival of hundreds of migrants immediately went viral. In this feature we follow Steve as he shares his experiences of attempts to conceal the issue and a glimpse into a shadowy world of human trafficking.
