A documentary about IRA prisoners on the blanket protest. Britain brought in a policy of "criminalisation" and aimed to treat political prisoners as criminals. IRA prisoners refused to wear prison clothes and went "on the blanket". When prisoners were brutalised by prison officers when going to and from showers the prisoners began a 'No Wash' protest. There was also the 'Dirty Protest' where the prisoners smeared their shit on the walls.
