On March 21, Trump held a press conference on the Coronavirus. "Journalist" Peter Alexander tried to fuel fear and panic by repeatedly using the word "scared" and suggesting that the "sailing ship" would sink soon.

He later used revisionist history, claiming that he was trying to elicit a positive response and only wanted the President to reassure people that everything would eventually work out. The reality, however, is that Trump was positive and encouraging, and only got frustrated after Alexander's negative line of questioning.

Later, in an interview with Andrea Mitchell, Peter Alexander stated that Trump's never had to worry about anything, including paying rent or finances. He then said this is the reason why Trump "took it out on me," and that his wealthy upbringing makes him incapable of sympathizing with those who are concerned about the potential effect this pandemic could have on their finances and health.

Let's stop the fake news and tyrants like Peter Alexander from trying to sow fear and division.
