REVIEW: It's a solid performer, relatively light weight, rugged, dependable, accurate. All the things a rifle should be, the Savage MKII .22 provides. I explain a few highlights in the video and cover its accuracy, provide targets and a range report. I briefly discuss two points I feel are minor drawbacks for the rifle: the rear sight adjustment wedge (I reversed mine to snug against the scope) and the magazine release/retention clip. Because I do not offer advice, I cannot say a .22 LR is acceptable for combat --but, I am also not going to count it out. If properly trained, just about anything can be lethal. Enough said.
It's a great rifle. I picked it up for only $137, and they are selling for more than that today. Pick one up if you can!
