We visited a school in South Miami who was scheduled to walkout during the Nationwide School Walkout on 4/20/2018-
South Miami was an epic fail as there was no mass student demonstration and it was instead contained to an assembly and writing assignment
We arrived at 10 AM when the walkout was due to being- some students were leaving school with parents but there was no mass demonstration-
Thankfully there was a protester who made it all worth it- I did run into some students who were against the anti gun rhetoric of their school and refused to participate in the school assembly and assignment.
