Don't want to shill Amazon links, but here's what you want to get if you want to start off on the right foot:
Simple Box Cutter
"Gunsmith" screwdrivers, or any flatblade screwdriver with a solid/square shank and squared-off head.
Bondhus ball-end Allen wrench set - metric and imperial
Metric and Imperial Drill indices - don't cheap out, aim to spend at least 20 bucks for each set. M42 cobalt drill bits are good, Amazon has some decent selection. Gotta have a good battery drill as well!
Dremel Tool - I really like my Dremel 3000, you can get an off-brand one. The most important bits will be Craytex bobs and cutoff wheels, which Amazon has. I like the cheap cutoff wheels, you can get them packages of 200 and that'll last you forever. Skip the silly grinding bits, you'll never need to use them.
Soldering iron - get a couple cheap ones and learn to use them. Experiment with them. They are one of the most useful tools you can possibly imagine.
