In case the situation in Ukraine deteriorates, Poland may face migration problems, President Andrzej Duda said Friday before a meeting with his German counterpart Joachim Gauck. "If there is an escalation [of the conflict], more and more citizens [of Ukraine] will head to the eastern borders of the European Union," Duda said. Russian Foreign Ministry official spokesperson Maria Zakharova has called the opening of NATOs center in Georgia "a continuation of the alliances provocative policy to expand its geopolitical influence." Russia will keep complying with the international liabilities to provide reliable protection for its allies - the republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, she said. According to the president of the Academy of Geo-Political Problems, Konstantin Sivkov , "The strategic goal of the alliance in the South Caucasus is to create tensions on Russias eastern flank. On the western flank, NATO has already turned Ukraine into a hostile state for Russia and now its Georgias turn. The North Atlantic Alliance needs two anti-Russian bridgeheads to burden Russia with military problems and not to allow it to develop its economy".

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has urged Europe to conduct airstrikes against the Islamic State jihadist group in Syria and Iraq to resolve the migrant crisis. "Countries adjoining Syria and Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan and others are bearing the brunt of millions of people fleeing into their borders and then into Europe. Thats why I believe the Europeans must be involved in the coalition airstrikes and the effort in Syria and Iraq," Bishop told The Australian in an interview on Monday. Later in the week, the Australian government will review the United States proposal to extend the Australian offensive against ISIS targets in Iraq to Syria.

Europe is facing a major inflow of undocumented immigrants with thousands fleeing violence conducted by the US and its allies actions at North Africa and the Middle East. More than 300,000 migrants have risked their lives trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe so far this year, according to the UN. The EU faced thousands of migrants as result of Washingtons illegal and shortfall policy. Now, Australian Foreign Minister is calling to support this policy to solve the European problems. Apperantly, Europe needs a better strategy.
