Natural (human) rights, also known as civil liberties, are outlined in the U.S. Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and Universal Declaration of Human Rights. NVIC Cofounder and President Barbara Loe Fisher reviews recent efforts to block freedom to publicly dissent about vaccine safety and the ethics of mandatory vaccination laws. Parallels are drawn between the “blacklist era” of the 1950’s and current efforts to eliminate civil liberties, including the human right to freedom of speech and conscience.
