Sean, this is one of a thousand examples of late where you try to insert yourself into a riveting exposition of facts by a leading authority which nearly ruins the interview. You are fortunate that Joe DiGenova puts up with it, but be careful; he may not put up with it for much longer and that would deprive your listeners of the gospel truth from the inside. It makes it impossible for your guests to maintain their train of thought. That’s why you have them on, isn’t it? To get the best out of them?
Your propensity for interrupting your guests now rivals Bill O’Reilly at his worst. Everyone I talk to gives you kudos for attracting the top-quality guests that you do to your show, and being the leading edge for many years on what is essentially a coup against our constitutional republic. But they also complain that it would be so much better if you would quit interrupting just as your best guests were making their most interesting points.
Your show will only be as good as you make it NOT about you. We don’t care about your birth circumstances. We don’t care how many jobs you worked in your struggle to make it to the top. Most who excel to the highest level of their chosen profession have had to struggle. But most of us know that bragging about it is nothing but pure narcissistic naval gazing. But most of all, we dislike your propensity to repeat your laundry lists of facts that you amazingly carry around in your head. It treats us as though we are your 5th grade students.
Please, get just a little better. That’s all we are asking. The outcome of this titanic battle of the Heavenlies with nothing less than human freedom may depend on you just taking one step back, please.
