Before watching this news report about an altercation between police and high school students, here’s some background. The man in the green shirt taking video is Marco Amaral, a radical teacher at nearby Castle Park high school and candidate for the Board of the South Bay Independent School District.

Marco is an avowed Marxist revolutionary and Chicano militant. Here he is seen marching with a banner in Spanish that reads Students for the Liberation of Aztlan. Atzlan refers to the Southwestern US, which militant Chicano's plan to eventually control.

Marco is also extremely anti-police. This post on his Facebook page expresses his hatred of police. Another post expresses his desire to revolutionize the schools. So, he believes in radicalizing students. The melee started when a student assaulted a police sergeant. You have to ask yourself whether Amaral did not inspire this conflict or even directly instigate it. The school where he teaches is about a mile away. Why would he be involved and taking video? They should be investigating Marco, rather than the police.

In order to better exploit the kids for his political agenda Marco held a press conference. He refused to answer any questions that did not support his agenda and he lectured the reporters about what their narrative should be. Indoctrinating the kids with his revolutionary anti-police politics is abuse of his students.
