La Legión Letona (en letón, Latviešu leģions) fue una formación militar de la Waffen-SS creada en 1943 durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y conformada principalmente con reclutamientos de etnia letona.
La Legión Letona la componían dos divisiones de granaderos de la Waffen-SS
15.ª división SS de granaderos (1.ª Letona)
19.ª división SS de granaderos (2.ª Letona)
La 15.ª División estaba administrativamente subordinada al VI Cuerpo de Voluntarios de la SS, pero operacionalmente estaba en la reserva o a disposición del XXXXIII Cuerpo, dentro del 16.º Ejército del Grupo de ejércitos del Norte.7 La 19.ª División, resistió en la Bolsa de Curlandia hasta mayo de 1945, cerca del final de la guerra, estando entre las últimas fuerzas nazis que se rindieron.

The Latvian Legion (Latvian: Latviešu leģions) was a formation of the Waffen-SS during World War II created in 1943, consisting primarily of ethnic Latvian soldiers. The 15th Division was administratively subordinated to the VI SS Volunteer Corps, but operationally it was in reserve or at the disposal of the XXXXIII Army Corps, 16th Army, Army Group North. The 19th Division held out in the Courland Pocket until May 1945, the close of World War II, when it was among the last of Nazi Germany's forces to surrender.
The legion consisted of two divisions of the Waffen-SS: the 15th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Latvian), and the 19th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (2nd Latvian).
