ROME, June 11, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – The demeaning jokes and public admonishments endured by parents of large families is not an expression of political correctness but the result of guilt incurred by those who have rejected God’s command to be “fruitful and multiply,” said John-Henry Westen, editor-in-chief and co-founder of LifeSiteNews, at a recent conference in Rome.
Mothers and Fathers of big families “are walking billboards of openness to life which torment the consciences of those who reject God’s blessing and command to be fruitful and multiply,” he said to a gathering of members of the newly formed JP II Academy for Human Life and Family in Rome on May 21. The conference was titled "Humanae Vitae 50 - Veritatis Splendor 25."
