A Força Expedicionária Brasileira (conhecida também pela sigla FEB), foi uma força militar aero-terrestre constituída na sua totalidade por 25.834 homens e mulheres, que durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial foi responsável pela participação do Brasil ao lado dos Aliados na Campanha da Itália, em suas duas últimas fases - o rompimento da Linha Gótica e a Ofensiva Aliada final naquela frente. Tal força (incluídos todos rodízios e substituições) era formada por uma divisão de infantaria completa (também batizada como 1ª DIE, 1ª Divisão de Infantaria Expedicionária), uma esquadrilha de reconhecimento, e um esquadrão de caças. Seu lema de campanha "A cobra está fumando", era uma alusão irônica ao que se afirmava à época de sua formação, que seria "Mais fácil uma cobra fumar cachimbo do que o Brasil participar da guerra na Europa".

The Brazilian Expeditionary Force or BEF (Portuguese: Força Expedicionária Brasileira; FEB) consisted of about 25,700 men arranged by the army and air force to fight alongside the Allied forces in the Mediterranean Theatre of World War II. This air–land force consisted of (replacements included): a complete Infantry Division, a Liaison flight, and a Fighter squadron.
It fought in Italy from September 1944 to May 1945, while the Brazilian Navy as well as the Air Force also acted in the Battle of the Atlantic from the middle of 1942 until the end of the war. During almost eight months of its campaign, fighting at Gothic Line and in the 1945 final offensive, the BEF managed to take 20,573 Axis prisoners, consisting of two generals, 892 officers, and 19,679 other ranks. Brazil was the only independent South American country to send ground troops to fight overseas, losing 948 men killed in action across all three services during the Second World War.

Das Brasilianische Expeditionskorps (portugiesisch: Força Expedicionária Brasileira, FEB) war ein Truppenverband, der während des Zweiten Weltkriegs auf Seiten der Alliierten im Mittelmeerraum gegen die Achsenmächte kämpfte. Er bestand aus 25.000 Soldaten des Heeres und der Luftstreitkräfte.
Brasilien war das einzige südamerikanische Land, das in diesem Krieg Bodentruppen nach Europa schickte. Luft- und Landstreitkräfte kämpften von September 1944 bis Mai 1945 in Italien. In den acht Monaten dieses Feldzugs verloren sie fast 500 Soldaten und nahmen 20.573 Italiener und Deutsche gefangen. Die brasilianische Marine und die Luftwaffe nahmen bereits seit Mitte 1942 an den Kämpfen im Südatlantik teil.
