While the majority of hispanics (and minorities) in general vote left, the left doesn't care about them. When you look at it, the hispanic "vote" in the United States is exactly that to Democrats, a vote. After elections, politicians stop looking at the issues that matter to hispanics and begin focusing solely on illegals. However, there are emerging conservative and centrist groups like Bienvenido (Spanish for "welcome") that are beginning to empower young hispanics to vote Republican so that their communities grow in strength and values rather than rely on the government for help.
