The shelling of the nuclear power plant continues in Energodar, Zaporizhzhia. Russia seized the plant in March but kept its Ukrainian employees. Russia controls the plant and surrounding areas, close to Ukrainian-held territory. It consists of six pressurised water reactors and stores radioactive waste. The UN is calling for a demilitarized zone. IAEA inspectors are rumoured to be finally visiting the site in September, after reportedly having an invitation from Russia since June, but it's unclear if Ukraine will give the permission the international organization says it requires.
