16-year-old Maria DeCiccio's rendition of the song "Via Dolorosa" (Way of Suffering) provides a powerful emotional musical background for the Way of the Cross performance through the streets of Peterborough by the youth of the Peterborough diocese. This the the 7th year in a row that the youth performed this Good Friday re-enactment initiated by the youth themselves and fully supported by Bishop Nicola De Angelis and his diocese. Note that no soundtrack was added to the video. The music you hear was actually occurring during the filming in the church or on the streets. Only during the last death scene was some of the music recorded during the street scenes added to that last part.
