Making the personal public
Laura Dodsworth is a photographer, author and filmmaker, telling powerful, moving human stories for art, editorial and commercial commissions.
Her books ‘Bare Reality: 100 women, their breasts, their stories’, ‘Manhood: The Bare Reality’ and 'Womanhood: The Bare Reality' attracted worldwide media coverage and excellent reviews. The Channel 4 documentary '100 Vaginas' about her project 'Womanhood' was described as a "cultural talking point" by the FT. She was invited to give a TEDx talk about the 'Bare Reality' series. Her new film 'SCARS' is out now on The Guardian.
Her new podcast Freethinking explores and celebrates the unique, the visionary, and the outliers. Each episode features a fascinating freethinker, to talk about their ideas and their worldview, people who have the courage to put their convictions above consensus.
