In this edition of The Monarchy, we will address the issue of poverty in the UK.
Newly released figures show that millions among the poorest Britons are struggling to feed themselves and face malnourishment.

Official data showed that the poorest 10 percent in the UK, some 6.4 million people, including children, ate less than the average guideline rate of about 2,080 calories per day.

The data, released in a report earlier this month from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, showed that the poorest people spent 22 percent more on food costs in 2013 than in 2007 but they received 6.7 percent less food.
