Dr. Buttar responds to story in USA Today about a girl growing up and complaining her parents did NOT give her vaccinations. Additional discussion regarding a friend’s sister who just had a baby and in the hospital, the recommendation was to get the vaccinations 2 months AFTER birth. Further encouragement from nursing staff in the hospital supported the idea of delaying vaccinations for a few months, which is something Dr. Buttar had not previously heard. But the idea that hospitals are supporting delaying vaccinations and hotel staff are supporting new mothers is refreshing and is indicative the population is becoming more aware.
