Polly's Tommey's husband, nutritionist Jonathan, goes to meet single mum Sam Sykes, who is having severe difficulties with her 4½-year-old son Mickey, who has autism. She tells him about Mickey's vocabulary shrinking, the glazed look that developed, the symptoms of his autism and his severe dietary problems. Jonathan uses this information and laboratory testing to prepare a diet that could ease the burden of Sam, Mickey and their family.
