On May 21, 2020 the skies in Beijing turned pitch black at 3:00 pm local time in literally a matter of mere minutes. Aggressive storms then battered down. This happened just as the Chinese Communist Party was convening its biggest political conference of the year - the "Two Sessions". Traditional Chinese see this as a bad omen for the CCP and called it "God's Indignation and the People's Resentment". What's more, this happened just as the Regime was unveiling its new "national security" law in Hong Kong that would extend the mainland’s laws into the semi-autonomous city. This move would mark the end of the city's "one country, two systems" agreement.
