Diagnostic pathologist Dr Clare Craig says the UK's decision to lockdown in the pandemic was a result of "politicians setting up fear propaganda."
She says the decision to lockdown was impacted by the "unknowns" at the time and was influenced by China's Wuhan lockdown.
"We didn't have any other strategy and didn't have the guts to be different to what other countries were doing."
The UK went under varying degrees of lockdown between March 2020 to December 2021, to contain the spread of Covid.
