Charles Goyette interviews Dr Les Roberts (antiwar.com radio) in January 2008 after the World Health Organisation published the newest Iraqi mortality study in the New England Journal of Medicine. The study is not too dissimilar to that of the Lancet 2 differing only in the deaths reported from violence; 151,000. The other figure not mentioned in the press is excess deaths from all causes which is greater than 400,000. The lancet 2 study produced figures 601,000 from violence and 655,000 total excess mortality.
