The "Park Patriots", a pro-liberty group out of Brazoria County, TX , have simply had enough of city and county officials overstepping their constitutional authority. Yesterday, the group took direct action and ripped up the tape at Freedom Park in Angleton, TX so that their children could play. City workers called the police of course, but when the authorities showed up the tables were turned. Rather than capitulating to intimidation, the moms and dads stood their ground and defended their Rights. This is a fantastic example of how citizens across this nation can reclaim their God-given inalienable Constitutional Rights by simply standing up to authoritarians.
Whether these patriots realize it or not, they literally just played out and vindicated the self-evident truth contained within arguably one of the greatest political treatise ever written - "...the more tyrants pillage, the more they crave, the more they ruin and destroy — the more one yields to them, and obeys them — by that much do they become mightier and more formidable, the readier to annihilate and destroy.
