Bogus Refugees Bringing Diseases To San Diego

The County Board of San Diego has agreed to pay for the food, shelter and medical expenses of these mostly bogus refugees and to transport them anywhere they want to go in the US.
It was claimed in this meeting that all of them have passed a preliminary “credible fear” interview. It takes time for the limited number of trained experts to vet them well in an interview. However, the intentional purpose of these mass caravans is to overwhelm the resources of Customs Border Protection, so that they have to be released without completing the vetting process, not to mention checking for diseases. CBP is required by case law to release family units with minors after only 20 days of detention. It seems highly likely that there was not enough time to complete the initial interviews for many, if not most of them. Past experience has shown that the great majority of them will never show up for their court hearings and just disappear into the US. One speaker said they had taken care of 4,500 refugees, since the caravan arrived in Tijuana.
