When it comes to the US election, a very large number of Chinese people hold predictions contrary to that of the Chinese government. They believe in a particular index: the Yiwu index. The Chinese city of Yiwu is China's largest small commodity wholesale market. Each year it sells up to 260 billion small commodities globally.

Beijing appears to have some strategic intentions towards Trump. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, China has been increasing its purchases of U.S. agricultural products in recent months. As of now, Beijing says it has imported 1.76 million tons of U.S. corn and 160,000 tons of soybean. Trump, on August 18 in an event in Arizona, said that the U.S.-China trade talks scheduled for Saturday were temporarily called off, and that it was his decision.

In the first six months of 2020, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seized 19,888 fake US driver’s licenses at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport alone. These fake driver’s licenses and other forged documents were concealed in overseas packages. Is there such a possibility that a fake driver's license from China might be used as ID for the general election?
Chinese officials are optimistic about Biden’s chances of being elected. China’s official media, the Global Times, published an article on the English website on August 19, stating that according to observers, polls and surveys by US media outlets and institutes, as well as Chinese experts predict that Joe Biden could defeat Donald Trump to become the next US president in the November presidential election.

During the 2020 presidential election, it is expected that china will be busier than usual.
